The information we collect

We do not have any surprises in EULA.

Log files

Like other web sites, we use log files. The log files include visitor's IP address, type of browser, time stamp, referring page, history of the browser requests, history of the software activation requests. We do not sell or distribute the log files to anybody else.

We use cookies for anti-bot/anti-spam protection.

We do not pass the cookies to third-parties.

Retaining and Deleting Personal Data

The collected data may be retained for various durations depending on the data. We keep the web server logs for 2 years, mail server logs for 1 month. We never delete your ordering history and support email messages. You can request your support email messages to be deleted but the ordering data and license keys may not be deleted right away.

The website security

You agree not to take any action aimed to disrupt the Website operation and not to try to access a data that is not intended for you. We will use any means to block the user from accessing the Website and will talk to the usrer's ISP in case of spam, server hacking attempts, sending artificial traffic to the servers, use of anonymizers or stolen license keys.

Executable Files Security

Our executable files do not contain any harmful code, nor use any socket/MAPI calls. However, we reserve the right to open your browser to confirm the software activation.

We are the only source of the StrokeScribe ActiveX and StrokeReader setup packages. We do not take any responsibility for any damages made by a software downloaded from third-party web sites.

We do not make any statements regarding the usefulness of the software for military or mission-critical applications. If you need any certifications for government/military use that require the code disassembly, please contact us first (because the EULA does not allow the reverse engineering). But please, you spend your own resources for these certifications and we do not provide the source code.
